SouthWest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries is a cooperative of area libraries organized to promote library services among and through member institutions. SWON Libraries consists of academic, public, school and special libraries in southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.

Organizations

 

Geographic Membership & Our Ohio Service Area

 

Thanks to Regional Library System funding from the State Library of Ohio, all libraries of any type (i.e. academic, public, school, special) within SWON’s 17 county service area (below) in Ohio are already considered Geographic Members of SWON Libraries.

In Ohio, but not in our service area? Make sure you check out SERLS, NEO or NORWELD to find your Ohio Regional Library System.

Geographic Members get:

  • Access to our Tech to Lend with discounts on delivery & instruction 
  • More affordable custom CE

However, even in these counties, your organization may still be a Supporting Member, so check the list.

Geographic Members receive reduced-rate access to continuing education offered by or through SWON. We offer consulting and technology lending, as well. Please contact SWON at info@swonlibraries.org or 513-751-4422 to learn more about learning opportunities for Geographic Members.

 



Supporting Membership

Libraries may elect to pay dues to become Supporting Members and be entitled to additional benefits. SWON offers a variety of special benefits for Supporting Members.

Like Geographic Members, supporting members receive:

The membership year runs from July through June, but members are accepted at any time on a pro-rated dues basis. For additional membership information, contact SWON at info@swonlibraries.org or 513-751-4422

The dues below are for organizations only. SWON does not offer individual dues-paying memberships at this time.
