Session 1: 10am - 10:30am ET with Jerry Swiatek "Google Docs: An Intro to Creating, Formatting, Sharing, and More"

Google Docs is a powerful free app that you and your students can use to create, share, edit, and collaborate on documents, reports, and written assignments. While Google Docs are easy to use, it can be helpful to know some basic features and tips so that you can readily begin creating and collaborating. Join Jerry Swiatek as he demonstrates step-by-step how to create a basic Google Doc. As part of creating a document, he will show how to check spelling, add images, wrap text, apply formatting, enter comments, and more. Jerry will also cover how to share, find, and organize documents so that you and your students can begin using this awesome collaborative tool. 

Session 2: 11am - 11:30am ET with Sarah Thomas "Google Docs: Project Ideas and Classroom Suggestions"

Did you know that Google Docs was more powerful than a simple word processing tool? Docs can be used to share work, manage assignments, communicate information, create a variety of collaborative projects, and more. Join Google Certified Innovator Sarah Thomas as she examines features that will take Docs to the next level. In addition to sharing a number of ways in which you might use Docs, Sarah will share helpful features and suggestions that can make your job easier, such as voice typing, add-ons, and a trick to create shareable templates of your documents with other colleagues. 

Session 3: 12pm - 12:30pm ET with Matt Bergman "Google Forms: An Intro to Adding Questions, Applying Themes, Sharing, and More"

Google Forms is a powerful free online app that you can use to enter quizzes, polls, formative assessments, exit tickets, and more. Google Forms are easy to use, but it can be helpful to know some basic features and tips so that you can readily begin building, formatting, and sharing forms. Join Matt Bergman as he demonstrates step-by-step how to create a basic Google Form. As part of creating a form, he will show how to enter different question types, apply preset themes, share forms, and view collected data. In addition, Matt will show how to branch to different pages based on previous answers. Come discover the basics of using this amazing app!  

Session 4: 1pm - 1:30pm ET with Monica Burns "Easy Formative Assessment with Google Forms"

Google Forms are free to make, easy to use, and completely customizable. Join Monica Burns as she shares some of her favorite ways to use Google Forms for formative assessment. This easy-to-use tool is perfect for teachers looking for a simple way to gather formative assessment data. In this webinar Monica will cover ways to use Google Forms in your classroom, explain how to create them, and show examples of forms that can be customized for any learning environment.
