The Teen SIG hopes to create a community that shares resources and provides support for librarians and information professionals who work with young adults. We welcome all library and information workers who serve teens to join the Teen Services SIG.

 

Deanna Piña, Adult/Teen Services Programmer at Campbell County Public Library's Cold Spring Branch, will discuss programming for older teens and new adults (ages 18-25), as well as the success of her recent pop culture programming. Attendees will be invited to discuss and share their own efforts at programming and services for the new young adult crowd.

 

Fred Kirchner will be giving a tour of the library and a short discussion on programming and services for homeschoolers.

 

Rikki Unterbrink is the Director of Library Services for Children at Amos Memorial Library and an organizer of Teen Think Tank, and she will be giving a presentation on “outside the box” teen programs.
