The eRate forms are changing!

"The FCC is modernizing its E-rate program to widely support robust Wi-Fi networks in schools and libraries." "The Order maintains E-rate's current budget of $2.4 billion and makes available an additional $2 billion to support Wi-Fi." -FCC.

Because of these changes, the form that libraries fill out every year has changed too. The State Library will be providing a workshop on November 3, at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM to go over the form. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM there will be an overview and update on changes to eRate. Lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (Lunch is not provided). Then from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM they will be going over the 470 form specifically. This is an in-person event.
