Most project management today means working with a variety of people in cross-functional teams. You may need to get buy-in or at least participation from people who not only do not report to you, but perhaps people who you've never met before. Or, you may need to achieve results with people you've known for a long time, who may not appreciate your new 'hat' as project manager. Or you may be operating in a different scenario entirely. If you're in project management and want to connect with others and learn some tips/tricks/insights into your situation, this Level-Up Lab is for you.

Learning outcomes:

  • Learn about typical project work phases
  • Learn to identify team members strengths/weaknesses as applied to each phase
  • Learn to compensate with the team you have
  • Learn to break down a project into component parts
  • Learn to review software project management tools that will help you manage
