We’ll cover the leveling and coding systems used by several popular publishers and series, discuss selection and evaluation criteria, and pick up a few tips and tricks to help frustrated parents get their children on the road to independent reading.

 

Jill Burket Ragase ~ Biography

Jill Burket Ragase has worked as a Children’s Library in Ohio and Kentucky and is the former Juvenile Collection Development Librarian at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Jill earned her MLS in 2002 at University of Kentucky and has presented for ALA, KLA, and OLC.
