Do you feel as if you’re left behind when it comes to new devices?

Confused about the latest apps? Befuddled when a patron plops a tablet on the counter and asks you how it works? No reason to fear. We’ll discuss tablet and smartphone basics, how to triage a help situation, and demystify the search for answers to those tough tech questions.

Participants will:

  • Learn basic smartphone and tablet terminology
  • Acquire tools and resources to increase technology confidence and competence
  • Apply existing reference skills to illuminate new concepts and build device knowledge

This webinar is for front-line staff, their managers and supervisors, and specifically those who work in reference services with patrons of all ages.
