The Patron Loyalty Program: Inviting Incentives to Engage Library Patrons

Tuesday, November 10th, from 10:30 – 11:30 am

Competency: Personal/Interpersonal Competencies

Sub-Category: Customer Service/Retention

How many loyalty programs do you belong to? Grocery stores have them. Retail stores have them. Airlines and hotel chains have them too. Why? Loyalty programs are a powerful incentive to keep customers coming back.

Do they work? Sometimes. Better Question: Would it work for a library?

We’ll explore The Patron Loyalty Program in this fun and interactive webinar through the lens of the circulation desk, as well as adult programming and outreach.

In this webinar, participants will learn:

·       Coordinating the program to the incentive

·       A new interaction at the circ desk

·       Layering the customer experience

·       Ideas to implement a rewards program
