World’s Largest Storytime

When the clock strikes noon, libraries throughout the area will be reading “Chick Chicka Boom Boom!” at the same time to try to set the Guinness Book World Record. If you have a copy of the book, bring it to read along or borrow one from the library. We will even be giving a few copies away, thanks to our partner, The Blue Marble.

JOIN US FOR THE WORLD’S LARGEST STORYTIME

Worlds-Largest-Storytime

Join us for a once-upon-a-lifetime party as CCPL partners with other Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati-area libraries to attempt the World’s Largest Storytime.

On Wednesday, August 10 at 11 a.m., meet us at the amphitheater at Tower Park.  We will have free Kona Ice, a balloon artist, music and an activity table.

To celebrate their 175th anniversary, “The Cincinnati Enquirer” is trying to raise awareness and resources to help tackle the early literacy gap. We will be collecting new or gently used kids books for our outreach collection. Any books collected at our event will be used in our county.

Thank you to the City of Fort Thomas for donating Tower Park Amphitheatre for this occasion! The amphitheatre is located on Cochran Avenue, between Douglas and Greene.

Thank you to our sponsors!
