Anyone who wants to learn a little bit about 3D printing

Beyond the Thingiverse...

In order for a 3D printer to be really useful, you need to be able to do more than just download objects from the Thingiverse. You need to be able to design!

Looking to take that next step with your 3D printer? (Or a first step.... no 3D printing experience is required for this lab)? Want to learn great program that you can share with your patrons? Just want to have fun and design and print a cool keychain? Then join us in Blue Ash for this cool Level-Up Lab.

No 3D printer or 3D printing experience is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, however.

Level-Up Labs

Level-Up Labs are a chance for you to get some hands-on help to take your tech skills to the next level. We'll meet at SWON's offices here in Blue Ash (though all labs can be presented at your site for your staff or patrons, just contact us for details) and spend up to two hours looking at a tech topic in depth, with time to practice what we've learned.

Level-Up Labs are always FREE for everyone, but space is limited, so register today to reserve your place!

About the Presenter

    Cassondra Vick, MLIS
    SWON's Technology Educator

Cassondra originally hails from Nashville, TN and has worked in public libraries for almost 15 years (and even served as a library page in her high school). She has spent most of her career in Youth Services, having worked in both Young Adult and Children's Services. However, her time studying for her MLIS at the University of Kentucky ignited a passion for library tech, allowing her to turn formerly personal interests into professional ones!

She currently lives in Finneytown with her husband, two spoiled cats and a new, non-pet addition born in February 2016.
