Join Library Journal, David Bendekovic, and talented colleagues from around your state for The Transformative Power of Community Engagement, a full-day, live, interactive workshop that explores powerful and proven strategies and tactics that can be applied immediately to positively impact your community regardless of your library's size or budget.

You'll be led through a series of exercises to discover why, how, and specifically, what leaders from high-impact libraries are doing to transform their libraries and build better communities.

Plus, each attendee will walk away with a Personal Action Planner for success, and also gain access to The Commons, our online alumni community where librarians share resources, make connections, and crowdsource solutions to their challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

Why and how high-impact libraries are interpreting data and situations from many angles to identify, understand, and better serve their communities.

Why and how high-impact libraries are engaging, energizing, and mobilizing multiple sectors of their communities–including education, healthcare, non-profits, government, the public, and staff.

Powerful and proven community engagement strategies and tactics that can be applied immediately to produce results.
