No More Slipping Through the Cracks: Identify Dyslexia and Improve Student Success

Most educators know when a student is struggling, but so many students slip through the cracks—especially if they have high IQ and strong coping skills. Are your disengaged students actually dyslexic? Are your students getting by with strong sight word recognition? Do you know how to identify these students who don’t portray the classic signs of dyslexia? October is dyslexia awareness month and now is the time to know the answers to these questions and more!

Join us in this edWebinar as reading expert and dyslexia virtuoso Kathy Futterman, Ed.D. shares key insights on how to successfully support students with dyslexia in elementary and middle school. You will walk away with a deeper understanding of dyslexia, including:

  • Identification of students with dyslexia and how it changes from grade to grade
  • How districts and administrators can best support student learning, engagement and success
  • Key accommodations that lead to successful outcomes
  • Best practices and tips to transform schools into empowering environments for dyslexic students

There will be time to ask Dr. Futterman questions after her presentation. Join us to understand all the ins and outs of empowering students with dyslexia. K-8 administrators, principals, SPED directors, SPED teachers, and librarians are invited to attend.
