Presenters

Emily Cleary

Emily Cleary is a writer with a background in higher education teaching, writing tutoring, and marketing. She holds a Master of Arts degree in sociology and studied business during her undergraduate years. Along with hosting webinars, Emily writes various types of content online about education and learning, software and technology, and all aspects of business. She is currently the Content Marketing Manager for video creation software mysimpleshow, and is also a musician on nights and weekends. Mario Lacerda

Mario Lacerda is a former middle school teacher. He taught Language Arts to honors & gifted students at ASPIRA Arts De/Co and Aventura City of Excellence Schools for a combined 3 years. Mario studied at the University of South Florida and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s in English, with a focus in American & British literature. He has creative and conceptual writing experience, and is currently a Project Manager at simpleshow.

 

 

 

Rod Diaz

Rod Díaz began his storytelling career as an actor in HBO Family's Milton’s 15 Minutes and Cliffhanger Adventure Series. Focusing on writing and filmmaking, he's worked on projects such as Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona and directed the documentary Havana SurfRod has been with simpleshow since 2011 and his roles have included Concept Writer and Project Manager. His work as Concept Writer for Michelle Obama's Partnership for a Healthier America’s Drink Up! campaign video helped simpleshow win the Davey Creative Award for that project. Rod is Creative Director Americas & UK and has managed numerous Fortune 500 accounts, helping them define and simplify their corporate messages. Rod has a Master of Arts from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and a Bachelor’s of Science from University of Miami’s School of Communication.
