Building Curriculum with Colleagues: Where the Library and Classroom Learning Connect
Wednesday, August 16, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

If you attend the live session, you’ll be emailed a CE certificate within 24 hours of the edWebinar. If you view the recording and would like a CE certificate, join the Emerging Tech community and go to the edWebinar Archives folder to take the CE quiz.

August is prime time for PD. Many teachers return refreshed from summer break to begin the new school year working on new or refreshed curriculum with faculty across grade levels and disciplines. This creates a sweet spot for school librarians to collaborate with colleagues and develop curriculum they will co-teach. In this edWebinar, Michelle Luhtala, Library Department Chair, New Canaan High School, CT, will share strategies for using this time to build instructional partnerships that will last throughout the year and beyond. Digital backpacks, integration with Google, Mackin Groups, Learning Management Systems, Library Management Systems, and curation will be addressed. All librarians are invited to attend this live, interactive session.
