Brown Mackie College Cincinnati, is very fortunate to have Melanie Moon as their Library Director.  Melanie serves on a half-dozen college committees, staying in tune with administration, faculty and student needs.  Their campus has converted to an iPad campus, meaning that each student must have an iPad and work assignments, resources and communications, are all based on using this device.  Each campus has an iPad Champion and Melanie made sure it was one of her librarians, continuing to work on being the center of information on campus.

Partnership is a guiding core value for Melanie, who looks for partnership both inside and outside of her institution to support her students and help them stay in school.  Reliable childcare is a real problem for many of her students and so she partnered with 4C for Children, a regional non-profit dedicated to helping families connect to top quality child care.  They've been invited to make presentations to students and Melanie and staff give their contact information anytime they hear of a student in need. That's a genuine example of helping students where they are.
