SouthWest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries is a cooperative of area libraries organized to promote library services among and through member institutions. SWON Libraries consists of academic, public, school and special libraries in southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.

Geographic Membership & Our Ohio Service Area


Thanks to Regional Library System funding from the State Library of Ohio, all libraries of any type (i.e. academic, public, school, special) within SWON’s 17 county service area (below) in Ohio are already considered Geographic Members of SWON Libraries.

In Ohio, but not in our service area? Make sure you check out SERLS, NEO or NORWELD to find your Ohio Regional Library System.

Geographic Members get:

Libraries may elect to pay dues to become Supporting Members and be entitled to additional benefits. SWON offers a variety of special benefits for Supporting Members.
