This is a list of programs that SWON can offer to do for your library.

Brushbot Program:

If you’d like to hold a simple STEM/maker program at your library, Nathan can put this one on with you. Brushbots are simple machines that mount a small vibrating motor on top of a toothbrush head. Once built, Nathan will lead the group through a couple experiments and build a game board where the brushbots can “play.”

Here are a few more details:

  • You buy the kits from MakerShed.com ($35 for 12)
  • Schedule a time & place with Nathan
  • Plan on a 1-hour program (hopefully it will run long!)
  • Nathan will bring all the tools needed to assemble the brushbots
  • Nathan will also bring materials for a race track and two game boards
  • The cost is $50 for a SWON Supporting Member or $100 for a Geographic Member

To get Nathan to come out to your library please pay for the program here.
