Who Should Attend?

Teen librarians and staff who work with young adults

Any staff interested in young adult literature

Reading the best of the best, the official Printz committee announces books they finds outstanding every year at ALA Midwinter. In that same vein, the Mock Printz committee is creating a list of top contenders from every month. At this meeting, the Mock Printz committee will present their chosen best books and open discussion on each book. At the end of the meeting, a vote will be held to determine the Mock Printz honors as well as the finalist.

If you would like to follow along with what the Mock Printz committee is reading you can join their group page and read along with the committee.

Titles for Consideration

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

A List of Cages by Robin Roe

We Are Okay by Nina LaCour

These titles will be discussed at the large meeting next year.

The final additions to the list will be announced in November.

There will be a potluck breakfast.
