Yearly dues $50 -100 (includes books): ROYAL is a group of school and public library staff serving teens who meet regularly to review and share information about new YA books, which are provided by publishers via SWON. This group meets in Troy, OH generally on the last Thursday of even months. Upcoming dates may be subject to change.

School and Public Library Staff who serve teens are welcome to join any of our ROYAL groups. Can't attend any of our existing groupsContact us for more information on forming your own ROYAL group.

We are not accepting any new ROYAL members at this time.

  • High School Media Specialists
  • Library Staff who work with teens

  • Collection Development and Management
  • Collections for Young Adults
    • Builds a collection designed to meet the needs and interests of young adults
    • Establishes and pursues strategies to stay informed about current and relevant resources to meet young adult's evolving needs
    • Facilitates young adults' requests for information and provides accurate and appropriate answers
    • Connects young adults and their families with resources that encourage reading

OLC provides CEUs for CLEAR/ROYAL meetings.
