The opioid crisis has impacted many nonprofits and libraries in the US. Find out how organizations are leveraging technology to address the issue. Join us for this free seminar and discover the digital tools and grass-roots strategies of innovative NPOs on the frontlines of the opioid crisis. Learn how social impact technology (Sim-Tech) is connecting schools, healthcare institutions, law enforcement, libraries, government, and local non-profits to accelerate collaboration, communications, and impact for communities in need.

Joseph DiGiovanni is a social entrepreneur with a passion for leveraging technology to create positive, lasting social impact, supporting mission driven organizations for 25+ years.


He has worked to lead corporate social responsibility related digital marketing initiatives for global clients including: Oprah Winfrey, Dr Oz, AARP, E-Bay, Tech Impact, Roche, Lab Corp, Johnson and Johnson, Pepsi, 23 and Me, and the CDC. 


Joseph has a BA in Biology from the University of Delaware and was the Keynote speaker at NP Tech Week. He is currently the Co-Founder of Tapp Networks, LLC where his team is launching The Opioid Impact Network to provide evidence based, expert guidance connecting communities in crisis.

PMG Consulting and Delaware Goes Purple

Peggy Geisler is the Owner and Senior Consultant of PMG Consulting LLC, who works with not-for-profits and businesses on infrastructure, strategic planning and collective impact as well as conducts community-based planning in the northeast region. She is a licensed Consultant for the Standards for Excellence Institute for Maryland Association of Nonprofits and Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA). She has 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit field and has received numerous awards for her community-based work. Peggy holds BA in Clinical Psychology from University of Maryland and her MA in Clinical Psychology from Salisbury University.

Peggy has facilitated regional and statewide collective impact initiatives through large scale projects such as the Sussex County Health Coalition, a well established nonprofit consisting of a 200-organization membership whose mission is to strategically improve the health and well-being of children, youth and families in Sussex County, Delaware.

Peggy also is the leader of the nationally recognized Delaware Goes Purple ( collaborative, an anti-stigma and awareness campaign engaging diverse stakeholders to address the opioid crisis in the state of Delaware.
