At SWON, Your Interests are Our Interests

We've shared with you before our newest Special Interest Group (SIG) for libraries that are remodeling or undergoing construction. This SIG is a great opportunity for you to share tips, frustrations, vendor experiences and to network. We also love the opportunity that hosting this and other SIGs allows us to connect you with useful agencies, such as November's speaker from the Energy Reduction Coalition.

ERC is a non-profit partner that even libraries not planning a remodeling project might be interested in learning more about. This Michigan-based non-profit organization provides a unique and guaranteed LED lighting upgrade program designed to especially assist capital restrained public and private organizations that would otherwise not be able to afford the tremendous expense of LED upgrade.

While switching to LEDs is environmentally friendly and can save libraries lots of money in the long-run, the short-term price can be cost-prohibitive. This is where ERC can help. With an ERC Lighting Conversion Program, the ERC handles all the work and pays for all project costs.

Key components of the program are:

  • ERC program is paid out of monthly utility bill cost savings thereby NO affect on Capital Budget so you can focus 100% of the Capital Budget to other mission critical activities.
  • IMMEDIATE 20% electricity cost savings upon implementation of the program which increased to 60% or more as the program matures
  • ERC is 100% responsible for maintenance
  • You may buy out of program at any time
  • ERC will perform a complete turnkey analysis and design

Want to learn more? Then join us for FREE on November 16th in West Chester, OH to meet with Henry Evans of ERC and then network with your collegues.

Doesn't apply to you? Take a look at some of our other SIG offerings and check out an upcoming meeting. Still don't see anything for you? Consider organizing a SIG for your special interest. We'll be glad to help -- it's what we do!
