Gayle Ecabert

Executive Director

Originally graduating college with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Gayle taught middle school Social Studies for several years at the start of her career. Eventually, she made the decision to attend University of Cincinnati School of Law, received her JD, and thereafter practised business law for a number of years. She left the law field and ran two successful small family businesses for years until she attended Kent State University for her MLIS and became Director of Library Services at Beckfield College in Florence, KY in 2015. Gayle served as Director at Beckfield for the last four years and is excited to take over the Director position at SWON!

Cassondra Vick

Continuing Education Coordinator

Cassondra originally hails from Nashville, TN & worked in public libraries for almost 15 years (and even served as a library page in her high school). She has spent most of her career in Youth Services, having worked in both Young Adult and Children's Services, including in Kenton County, KY. However, her time studying for her MLIS at the University of Kentucky ignited a passion for library tech, allowing her to turn formerly personal interests into professional ones when she joined SWON as our Technology Educator.

From June 2017 to May 2019, Cassondra assumed the duties of Executive Director.
